Sale of Rafale to India, epilogue of a saga of more than nine years – Franceinfo

If the signature due to this sales contract with India, scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, is confirmed, this will be for Dassault e to the Rafale, its largest export order. Recall that, by 2015, Qatar and Egypt had acquired each twenty-four devices.

New Delhi announced that Dassault had won its tender for 126 combat aircraft, and prepares exclusive negotiations with the French group signed a contract for the command.


June 2012

India and Dassault began officially thees exclusive negotiations on the purchase of 126 Rafale.


February 2013

The indian press referred to a signature potential of the contract before march 31, (end of the fiscal year in India), but the CEO of Dassault, Eric Trappier, said that he hoped to conclude negotiations “in 2013″. A responsible indian military evokes mid-2013. Indian Prime minister Manmohan Singh says his side as the negotiations “are progressing well”, during a State visit to India of French president François Hollande.

February 2014

December 2014

April 2015
