Long queues at the stations still open, sometimes up to the road: drivers stalk fuels in most cities Western, while several departments have issued orders limiting distribution.

These orders are to avoid shortages, due to blockage of refineries by opponents of the Labor Law. The lifting of blockades Friday from several major fuel depots and stopped allowing tankers to travel on weekends, however, helped replenish some stations on Saturday morning.

20% of Western stations out According to the prefecture of Seine-Maritime, and we noted a marked improvement in supply, with some 200 trucks expected to deposit Grand-Quevilly. But many stations remained dry, as in the English Channel where the prefecture was state of 38 stations in total break.

Lockups and reopenings refineries In the great west (Brittany, Normandy, Pays -of-Loire, Centre), the authorities expect a resumption of normal operation of the fuel depots, noting that only two of them on 9 total remain blocked.

The police intervened Friday to remove dams on three important places of storage in Vern-sur-Seiche (Ille-et-Vilaine), the port of Lorient (Morbihan) and terminal ruby Grand-Quevilly. Saturday, the access to the third refinery in France, that of Exxon Mobil in Notre-Dame-de-Gravenchon (Seine-Maritime) were also released by the CGT and FO union that blocked.

These reopenings expected to replace the “logistics supply chain” , according to the prefecture of the western zone defense that stresses the ‘n’ there was no fuel shortages but significant replenishment capabilities “.

Several deposits remained however disrupted Saturday, especially in the North where four storage centers of Dunkirk and Valenciennes were again blocked, after the evacuation of three of them the day before, or Cournon d’Auvergne (Puy-de-Dôme). The strike at refineries also represents the main risk of shortage for the coming days, knowing that it takes about 3 days to stop the installations and at least as much to revive.

Now, as in Donges, Gonfreville l’Orcher employees of near Le Havre, and Feyzin, near Lyon, voted Friday shutdown of facilities. The refinery at Grandpuits (Seine-et-Marne) turns it in slow motion.

While the four other French refineries continue to operate normally, the No. 1 of the CGT, Philippe Martinez, Saturday floated the threat of a hardening in this sector: “there will be a reaction to the height of what the government is “, has he said during a trip to the North.

“We can hold” “do not panic, said Catherine Enck, spokesman of the French Union of petroleum industries (UFIP). We have the product in France, all is to be able to deliver. Refineries operate even if the speed is sometimes slow. We can hold “, she insisted.

The central CGT Total Petrochemicals Refining Thierry Defresne paints a different picture of the situation: according to him, production at Donges, Feyzin and Gonfreville l’Orcher should be totally suspended Tuesday or Monday . It also disputes the data Ufip that the production would not be disrupted on the platform of La Mede, in the Bouches-du-Rhône. “The goal is to stop all refineries in France. This is a call for indefinite strike , he had said Friday. The aim is not to create the shortage is to secure the withdrawal of the law (Labour) “, he added.

He said that employees of the Total refinery of Gonfreville l’Orcher voted 56% complete shutdown of the facilities. Those of Total Grandpuits refinery in Seine-et-Marne, voted the extension of the strike for 72 hours, he added. At Donges, near Nantes, stopping shipments was extended for an additional week, until Friday, May 27
