G20: Putin dried lunch and left the summit – Le Parisien

<- Hard & eacute; e: 0.02384090423584 sec -> A covered less around the large table of the G20. That Putin has decided not to attend the lunch the top of the 20 most powerful world leaders held to 13 hours (local, four hours in France) in Brisbane, Australia, the host city.

<- hard & eacute; e: 0.035995960235596 sec -> If the Russian president has participated in the morning in various meetings including on tax cooperation, financial regulation and energy, Putin finally dried last “working lunch” about “future challenges” including global warming. “The lunch is not important just blah,” (Editor’s note: “Lunch is not important, it’s just blah”) explained it bluntly in the Russian delegation.

In lieu of lunch, Putin met in his hotel Russian journalists before resuming faster than expected his flight to Moscow. Since the beginning of the summit, Putin is in the viewfinder of Western leaders in particular because of the Ukraine, where Moscow is accused of helping the pro-Russian rebels in the east of the country despite a ceasefire agreement signed last September.

“Our duty is to resolve the crisis in Ukraine”, has insisted Francois Hollande in his head to head Saturday with Vladimir Putin. Despite its mini bang, the master of the Kremlin said before leaving the G20 discussions had been “comprehensive, constructive and very helpful.” Putin is the first of 20 leaders summit in leaving Australian soil at the stroke of 14 hours (local, 5 am in France), even before the publication of the final communiqué of the G20.
